You have a solid, fairly unique narrative foundation set down here, and it's one that I think it has a lot more potential than is put to use here. I like how the main impetus of the plot is just the ruler's main assistant running a basic errand and the irritability that said assistant expresses as a result. Him having to reluctantly team up with someone he doesn't agree with to achieve a common goal is also a solid, fun set up.

That being said, I think the game falters largely in the interactive side of things. The lack of variety in enemies & offensive options makes the fights more of a chore than they should be, especially since I got a fair number of encounters in my playthrough. I also think the mana system is a little wonky; when using the fire spell, it felt like the witch's mana levels didn't deplete at all.

The most I can say is that what this game warrants is... well, more! I'd love to see the lord's right hand man have to carry out more busy work and seeing how he handles being used as a base handyman. More enemy and attack variety could liven up fights for sure. Getting to see more of what a world ruled by the Dark Lord who has achieved peach through force looks like would be great as well.

I appreciate your solid feedback, I tried focusing too much on a story plot and setting, on trying to achieve something different, that I admit that I neglected the mechanic parts, like the combat. I did use default stats and assets for those, which I should have given more focus.
If the project of this game is carried on, I will take all that into consideration.
Thank you very much.

I'm glad to hear that my feedback was received well. I do hope that I'll get to see your vision refined in the mechanical aspect, as well as seeing the world and narrative set up get explored even further. You have something good here.

I really enjoyed getting into character as this evil knight, calling everyone maggots and rooting for the forces of evil. Would happily play a full length game as this dude.

Thank you for the feedback. The future of this game is still uncertain, but I hope that I am able to finish it so you can play a full version.
