This was so cute!! I loved this very much, it was a fun experience to be shown around the clinic by Gakuto and Marie. I like to think that this is a sort of metaphor to irl, on how different groups of people get treated all differently and like they're some taboo just because of some dumb stereotypes. When in reality, we're all human beings who have different lifestyles that in most cases, are rather similar to each other.
I chose to donate blood with Gakuto as my blood drawer, and the ending I got as a result was very cute. It made me happy to see that Gakuto liked us in the end because we were being nice and understanding throughout the whole tour. The little lore drop on him was pretty nice too hehe.
I really loved how kind, patient, and willing to teach, Marie was! She could be a teacher if she wanted. Her ultimate goal was to help people understand vampires better, and I think the way she's going about it is great. Rather than calling us stupid for believing in the stereotypes, she simply corrects us and explains what's actually true about vampires.
I also loved that Lum was being understanding and willing to learn the whole time, it made the whole experience worthwhile. If people choose to be ignorant, then you can never truly get along with the people different from you, right? So I'm glad that Lum was polite and respectful of the vampires, being understanding when corrected and apologizing because they felt rude for believing in the stereotypes.
Anyway, this was a very fun and cute game to play. I'll be running it back at the blood donation part so that I can see what happens when I choose Marie. I'm sure it'll be just fine since she's been kind to us the whole time. The whole point of me choosing Gakuto first was because it was a way for us to bond with Gakuto a little more, and that felt important considering that he slowly grew to like us as the tour went on. I'm glad that we were able to befriend him in the end!
Edit: Did the Marie ending! It was cute and fun, and like how I expected. It went well, and due to Marie's personality, the process was a little more ecstatic. I'm glad that I went back to see her ending though, because I got to see how appreciative she was of me for being one of the few who's willing to learn. I felt happy to hear that, because people can truly be the worst when they chose not to learn.
Both endings were nice and made me happy. :) I'm still glad that I did Gakuto's first though, because I got to see him open up to us more, while also being appreciative that we were a genuinely nice human being who was willing to learn about vampires. Being able to befriend him in general made me happy, we were able to show him that there are people out there who aren't all cruel.
