The characters are very well written and very distinct from each other.
I really, really liked the contrast between photographs and drawings between the real world and the cyber-dreamspace-internet. Wonderful attention to detail.
Also I'm a sucker for synthwave/vaporwave stuff, and the aesthetic is top notch.
I really, really enjoyed it. However, I have a couple nitpicks, which are very minor but I think would add some polish to the experience:
It can be a bit confusing to distinguish spoken words and internal monologue just by separating with quotes. I think it would be much better to make shorter textboxes that contain only spoken words or only internal monologue
The game can feel a bit static at times: consider adding some more sound effects, parallaxes or moving objects a bit more frequently. I have never tried ren'py (although your game really made me want to check it out) so I don't know how difficult it is.
(the ending part of the demo was a tad predictable, but that just means you've made a very well fleshed-out world)
Bravi. I'll be keeping an eye out for when it comes out.
