Very cool idea! Imagine putting a player-level-editor in this and a highscore system. I think this could be a really cool game for speedrunners!

Hey, really nice game! I really liked how the cards interact with the world. nice work! :)

This was really cool! I liked how much freedom there was for the player to climb to the top, whether through the abilities or the platforms. Great job!

cool visuals and style, and unique mechanics - but the visuals for the cards look a little out of place.

Developer

Yeah, we didn't have time to find or create proper pixel art card assets sadly, so we had to make due with the assets we could find :') Glad to hear you enjoyed what we were able to make though <3

Tower Climb has a really unique and fun concept—random cards that generate platforms you use to climb upward? Super creative. The visuals are clean, the music is great, and overall, the atmosphere feels playful and inventive.

I couldn’t quite figure out how to use the abilities, which left me a bit confused at times, but I still had a blast. I may have exploited the system a bit by stacking a ton of blocks and jumping up repeatedly—but hey, it worked! That said, the core idea is fantastic and with a bit more clarity around the mechanics and balance, this could be even stronger.

Awesome job to the devs—it was genuinely fun! And if you’re ever looking to try another quirky card-based game, feel free to check mine out as well. Just sharing the love!

Yeah, the addition of showing the abilities was something last minute, I would've loved to refine it more :')

Glad you had a fun time playing though!! <3

This is a fun little platformer, although I did find a way to bypass the entire game that I won't disclose here 😆Only complaint I'd have is the symbols on the wall at the beginning: you expect to have abilities at first when you read them, not platforms.

Developer

Oh, I really wonder how you managed to do so!

Yeah, I would've loved to refine the explanation of the abilities, but sadly had no time to do so :')
