fun to play well done, I think the backgrounds would've been better if they were less opaque or had lighter color as it was sometimes confusing with the platforms, keep it up!
Bruh this is basically "Getting Over it" but pixilated. It's just HARD!
But really I'm mindblown of how u managed to make all this in just 3 days.
Amazing game :D
The story narration was really good. Loved the concept, was really fun to play
Wow, this is a really good concept! More people should try your game. The storytelling is exceptional! I really like that the player has to keep moving, but there’s also an option to come to a stop and assess your surroundings for up to 3 times before the ball catches up to you. The color switch was also genius, and it actually ties into the decision-making of which path to take to balance the color meter. Very good job on that!
The level design leaves much to be desired though, it can be confusing at times and needs checkpoints. Also, allow the player coyote time or more leeway to make jumps because the player is already being timed twice (color meter + ball catching up), putting a good amount of stress on the player, so the platforming should be more lenient.
Overall, I see a lot of potential in this game. I hope you continue to work on this concept even after this jam! Good luck!
Thanks for playing! I am glad you enjoyed the concept. I admit it does defiantly need some improvements, so thank you so much for the feedback. I will most likely continue its development after this game jam has finished, when I get some more free time.
