Use of the limitation
You need to find darkness within you, but to do so, you need to prove yourself first. Once you are worthy enough, you can take out all the darkness inside, which is nothing but your evil version, and destroy it.

The player looks great! Make sure to not filter the pixel art though. I think the bats should attack and then retreat and then attack again.
