Nice metroidvania game. Liked the art and animations. Nice axe mechanic to make the gameplay stand out. With the default window that opens, the UI is far too large. Found the enemies not sticking to one side too challenging as they race about avoiding hits. Perhaps make them slower or stick to one side of the player to make them easier to kill. But, maybe this is just me.

Thank's for the feedback! I'm glad that you enjoyed the game! The UI is not my strong but i will fix it, do you have any tip to make it better? About the enemies you're totally right, i will nerf them in the next update.

Not really, I'm no UI expert. But, you are lumping all your UI stuff into the 1 corner of your game, you could move stuff to the other corners of the screen so that it isn't all cluttered into the same corner. After doing this you then need to decide whether the scale of these items needs tweaking if it still is too large and blocks too much screen real-estate. You have to strike a balance of UI readability and it not getting in the way of the player playing your game because too much of the screen is blocked by it. You have to also decide what does and does not need to be communicated by the UI. But I would say first step is moving stuff into the other corners of the screen to see how it improves, then tweaking screen UI element sizes. Doing that should likely be enough to improve things.

Good game , I like the art, and the skeleton enemy, I reread the title twice when I first saw it, nice work

I think this game is really well thought out and put together. The art and animations are very good and the main character's design is great. The axe throwing mechanic is very unique and there is a good variety of enemies.

The UI obscures a huge portion of the screen, making it hard to see to the left. The controls are also pretty janky in my opinion. Pressing, holding, and releasing space bar to jump at different heights really messes with the fast tempo set by the character's high move speed. Pressing E and R to attack is also quite difficult when running to the right.

For me, one of the most important aspects of a game is how good/fluid it feels to play. I think the concept of a drunken berserker breaking out of a dungeon with a magic axe has a lot of potential for a very fun metroidvania game.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I'll be addressing the UI, jump, and punch attack issues in the upcoming update, which will be released shortly.

Good visual I like the pixel style.. however the speed of the controls take some time to get use to but overall I like the story music and gameplay !  Cool idea

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, i'm glad to hear it! About the speed of the controls you mean the speed of the player or the speed to make inputs?

Thank you for the feedback, i'm happy that you like it! I tried to make the game with a comical history to get a few laughs of the user.
