Absolutely love the style and music, reminds me a lot of Hollow Knight and Celeste! I especially love how it was made with Love2D which is the framework I am learning right now, absolutely inspiring! Looking forward for progress made on this game! :)

Not bad for what you've got now, although the star dash stuff was a little finnicky and no matter which of the boxes I chose at the start the controls were always locked to the arrow keys
