A fun entry! There was a moment at the end which was almost game-breakingly frustrating, but I managed to get past it and finish the game. So we can end on a positive note, I'll start with my critiques:
And now the fun part, the GOOD:
You have a lot of capability and ability for coding and level design from what I can tell from this game. I hope you get the chance to work on something bigger and with original assets to make your stuff really pop, because your foundations are strong and made a really fun MVM project!

Functionality to make finding the echos interactive/engaging and a peice the clues together system (similar to the fill-in-the-blank duck detective system) were on my list of things to-do but they got cut due to time. The game was still pretty silent with a week to go, so getting sounds in and wrapping up the story were prioritized. It's really hard to see these as criticisms when they were in my original plan, but were scrapped due to time.
I think you may have gotten the textbox in a state where it thinks it's already open. It's only happened to me once, so I haven't been able to reproduce it enough time to come up with a solution.
I was very grateful to find so many assets that worked together. If I had made anything it would have looked like Thomas is still very alone.
Not sure if it was a key I touched or what, but it got frozen on this pop-up for me.... It was pretty designed and everything to be fitting art style/music and such.... Not sure if it was me or the game. Will come back and try again later.
I do wish there was ALT attack like left mouse click and jump space instead of WASD and W jump and space attack.... but that just a personally pref. thing probably

I liked it and it looked really good, but i got stuck on the first room . perhaps some directions.
I can see we used some of the same assets haha! I think you might want to check your import settings, looks like the upscaling might be bilinear instead of point, causing a percived blurriness.
The intro is nice and intriguing!

I had a few issues where the 'echoes of the past' hitboxes seemed a bit precise for how big the box was. A few cases where assets weren't lined up with the floor.
I got past the statue and the drop through floor powers, but then couldn't find an echo to keep moving forward.

The pause/map menu buttons overlapping was a bit frustrating
