Didn't read through everything or have the ability to playtest, but everything I am seeing looks super cool.
I also am a massive fan of d100 systems and degrees of success and failure, so I might be a bit biased, and the whole theme seems to be a weird mix of mech's and magic which has a lot of potential to have really interesting world building stuff going on/ and or it is taking inspiration from WH40K and the "magic" is just lost tech.
Either way, I like what you have.
It wasn't clear, but magic does exist and it is possible for magic to come along with the pilots and mechs. Though Cydonia, the world itself, forces it all to work under its own rules.
Neat. Yeah I skim read through stuff so you may have made it super clear and I might have just missed it because of the skimming of the content aspect, not that you didn't explain it well enough, because it definitely was implied with what I was reading.
look my english is bad so that I cant really experience this game properly 😅
still gonna give 5 stars tho 😁
I am really happy I got a chance to sit down and read through this. This is a massive amount of output for the period of the jam and the creators should be very proud of everything they were able to get down on paper!
I love the idea of the sort of cross-universe battleworld made up of the last survivors of various worlds. I also like how much effort the authors put into making sure that so many different genres of mecha story were represented. This whole thing is bursting with creativity and they came up with some things I never would have thought of.
All that said, it's a bit unclear how all the moving pieces will work together in play. The game would benefit from more GM guidance, world info, and adventure ideas. As is, it's a really cool character creation system and will be interesting to see if the authors expand on it in the future.
Everything started coming to together towards the end of the jam where we finally hit our stride. There was a lot more there, but we had to move a lot out of the document in the final day of polish. A few statements on GM guidance really should've been put in. Sometimes I forget that I need to write things like that down and not just let it stew in my head.
