Notes from gameplay:

- Pretty main menu screen. I like how the plants move. Music is nice. Font is nice. Achievements menu is intriguing!

- Settings menu is nice. I liked the potato graphic option :P

- The flicker on the intro text is nice, gives me a found footage vibe. Leads in well to the game story

- Graphics give a very found footage feeling

- Unsure what path I'm supposed to follow

- I see a car in the distance, creepy

- Popup box + font doesn't mesh with the grainy found footage visuals. It's too neat and clean and crisp

- Good text for tutorial. Gives some story and instructions

- Why have a sprint button without a cost or mechanic for sprinting? Just let me move that fast normally

- I like the ambient effects of rain and ghosts (?)

- Skybox is pretty

- Nice level design, reminds me of Oregon

- "Wait is that a light?" - What is that referring to? I don't see any light to investigate

- Finally saw it. Needed to walk a bit, wasn't visible from tombstone

- Nice job updating the objectives in real time. I like the tracker in top right of screen

- Music is nice!

- Footstep audio fits well

- Graffiti to show narrative clues is a great touch. It fits the scene really well and feels visually interesting!

- Oh guess I died from the spirit ball monster

- I liked the death scene, footage lost is great, fits the theme very well!

- Tedious to repeat the entire section again when it's just the same narrative

- "Chase scene" music is exciting

- Flooded level: can't seem to turn on flashlight anymore

- Audio of walking in water is good

- Great creepy image of the spirit ball monster flying by during red light!

- Darn, guess I can't step out after it flies by, footage lost!

- Nice audio cues for danger, would be nice to have one for safe time to move as well

- Timing of red light + spacing of safe zones is well done. Great minigame

- I escaped!

- "to your right" was deceptive, path out is just behind me

- Pretty sure that car should be dead! It had its headlights on all night :P

- Great succinct story with a creepy ending. WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!

- Let's try survival mode

- No audio

- Ooh spirit ball guy hunts me down!

- Are there mechanics here? Feels like I'm just running aimlessly until I hit an invisible wall

Fun, concise game with a solid aesthetic which matches the story. You did great with the found footage concept! I enjoyed the minigames and the narrative and found it an entertaining quick play experience.

thank you for playing :) about the flashlight not turning on, that is a forced feature so while people are hiding in the safe rooms on the water level, you can fully see the lights outside being changed and not mixed up with ur flashlight!

Next time i make a game like this, i will maybe add way points, and on puzzles where i want to give a challenge, i will try describe the hints a lot more clearer :)

I actually don't know what to say, its REALLY GOOD! The only thing is that there is no audio in the survival mode, but the story mode is 10/10!

-Only thing is that the camera movement when walking did get me a bit dizzy? maybe have an option to lower how much it moves (the view bobbing)!

Developer

thank you for the feedback, i was planning on adding a reduce motion option but couldnt find the time as i had school coming, next time i participate in a jam and my game has bobs, i will make sure to have a reduce motion setting :)

I really like it, I got lost finding the car and running in circles for some minutes tho I found it in the end. The cinematics are actually great, and the gameplay too.
