A fairly/very nice game. I did not as such encounter any real issues, and the game is very polished. The game ran very poorly on my ancient potato laptop before I turned off the settings for particles and lights, but once I did that, it ran very smoothly (nice addition with the settings). The music was "scratching" a bit, but I think that is due to my ancient potato laptop and running the game through "firejail wine DashOver.exe" - another game made in Godot had the same issue with the music ( a nice game: https://alvariusgames.itch.io/bearcycle-alpha ). From what I could hear of the music it was decent, but a bit repetitive. You haven't added any development logs, or a post-morterm, or similar :) . I did not see any documentation for the "dash-replenish" power-up, but I have experience from other platformers with such and guessed correctly what it would do - I suspect that people that hasn't encountered that mechanic might not know what it does, so a minor amount of documentation for it might be nice. I was a little surprised by how the boss was defeated/escaped :) , though it makes sense for a jam and for the scope of the game. The game was nice, fun and short. Also, my ancient potato laptop is too ancient and potato to run this game by the developer that streamed a lot of the games this jam (see https://www.twitch.tv/blackvoidtytan/videos ), so I would not be sad if you would rate + comment in my place :) : https://itch.io/jam/marathon-jam-by-solodevelopment/rate/1136779 .
