hard game! i enjoy difficult games and I think with some tuning this can be really great. the controls can be a bit tighter and the jump doesn't work as planned every time, but overall I had an extremely nice time. i really like the difficulty options, most people wouldn't include that in a jam and it gives great replay value!

one of the more impressive games of the jam in my opinion and can be great if you tweak the game a bit.

I agree with the previous comments about character controls. Jumping feels awkward. It is difficult to control the character in the water after jumping. It's cool that you can choose the difficulty. Music adds a cool atmosphere to the game. Overall, I liked the game. Good idea. Good implementation!

I find this game very hard to play because the controls are very clunky. Movement on the ground is ok, still slow, but workable. But then you get to the jump, which is even slower than the walk speed, and it is almost impossible to move in the air when you're jumping, which makes it very hard to get to platforms to make it through the level. The level layout seems almost arbitrary, there's no direction as to where you should go, though the threat level being scalable was a very good quality of life touch.

I find the game very hard to beat, because the controls are so floaty, maybe have a faster acceleration and more friction.  Also the jump feels kind of unreliable oftentimes when pressing in a direction at the same time. I liked that you made the threatlevel scalable, because i felt the need to tune it down. I think you did a good job anyway, but some numbers need to be tweaked here in my opinion :)
