- I think replaying classic successful beat em up games could help refine some of the techniques used to make the gameplay feel great. I recommend Streets of Rage, Final Fight and TMNT Turtles in Time for classics. Recently releases like Streets of Rage 4 and the new TMNT are both supposed to be great though.
