I found this oddly soothing, almost hypnotic. Once you get in the rhythm of catching fruit, it's hard to stop. Really impressive for only an hour!
This is a great start for a game! I’ll admit, I don’t know what I’m supposed to do (the fruit falls way to fast to catch, so I guess it’s luck? And I can’t tell if anything happens when I do catch one…) and it’s a shame it isn’t in 64x64 pixel resolution. I hope you have time after the jam to add some polish, because this is a great project!
Works I guess? Objective is not super clear, as catching the fruit doesnt seem to change anything. Perhaps could use another hour or two of work :p
Fruit catching works fine and is a fun little minigame.
Is this in 64x64 resolution? The cup kinda didn't look like it for me.
I'll echo the comment that a little more variety in graphics, sound, or speed for different fruit would have been nice.
Just about the right amount of difficulty to catch the fruit. Would have liked to see some different sprites for the fruit falling and maybe a few other noises to make it sound like the fruit landed soft or hard in the basket depending on how far down the screen it fell before being caught. Solid game!
On the "edit game" page, you need to find and enable the "SharedArrayBuffer" option for your game to run.
