Did you work in a team?
Just me! (it was a fun experience!)

Was the resolution a challenge?
Yes! But at the same time it was kinda inspiring. Limiting myself to 64x64 pixels made me focus on other things such as animations, palette, etc. One of my biggest issues was fitting text on the screen, I kept that to a mininum.

What did you learn?
I learned a lot about pixel art! I also had a lot of fun mixing different game genres, it can definitely be challenging at times.

Nice combat system and nice graphics. Dunno if intentional but when only having 1 HP and using Struggle (takes off 1 HP from you) you don’t die, die from the hit the enemy lands on you next… have not been able to win a combat with 1 hp and using that ability… Really nice combant start transition. Good job with that entry!

Thanks a lot for playing!

And yeah! You were supposed to die instantly if you kill yourself with struggle, but for some reason when I coded it I forgot to check your HP before the enemy turn, so the enemy always gets a next turn.

About winning a combat with 1hp and struggle, it's indeed not possible! Maybe it should be, but since death is not a super huge deal, I decided to make you lose when you tie a fight.

Yo, the game looks very nice. I love the Pokemon-style fight when you fight against enemies. I think you did really well considering you did all this by yourself! The only thing that doesn't fit very well with this game is the background music. It doesn't feel fitting considering it's a drilling game. I think something with fewer instruments and a little less attention-grabbing music would fit well with it. Otherwise,  well done!

Thanks for playing!

Noted! I wanted to make a longer, ambient music but I might have gone a bit overboard with the instruments. Still learning the ropes haha. I'm glad you liked the combat (and noticed the pokemon inspiration)

WOW! I love it :D I went all in on drill power and farmed those 'carnivas' enemies for 8xp each ^^ I only played normal cos im a scrub but really enjoyed it :)

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it

Drill power is indeed a good way to progress! It makes gathering resources easier and it's kinda the "strength build", especially because of the etherdrill skill.
