After playing Killer Chat, I was super intrigued by this game considering the connected characters, even more so after hearing about how different the two games are. I was happy to hear the voice actors were the same, and it definitely made the game play super enjoyable !! I still did find the game confusing though. On a more technical / coding level, the game bugged out a few times while playing. Luckily it wasn't hard to fix, and the game isn't too long anyway so it didn't take long to catch up to where I left off. Nonetheless, it was still tedious at first. I also found the story line super confusing, though it added a lot to the characterization of Ronin and Ther (them being very lost in their own world, confusing, definitely far gone teenagers). With the confusing dialogue and plot points, I overall just found it hard to fully immerse myself in the game. I did, however, enjoy how this game highlighted Ronin's character (as he's a big fan favorite among the games) and pointed out more directly how he's treated being trans in Angelwood. Overall, this game felt more of an extension of Killer Chat to me rather than its own independent and enjoyable game.
literally such a well written game. the characters have sm depth & symbolism. i <3 it!
I lack the words to explain how much I adore this game.
It's really fun! It was my first game this dark, but it was so interesting. I have trouble understanding either character, but especially Ronin since they're so complicated and interesting. The art is beautiful, the voice acting amazing, and the story is satisfying but also leaves me craving more.
