Wow! This could have been in the legacy jam! I'm glad it's here though.
This is such a fun meditation--no, more active than that. exploration?--on time and how it makes dirt of us all. The scoring is exactly right, somehow. And there's a tournament version!
I really love it, and thank you so much for submitting it!
That was how I felt when I was writing, but after I submitted and read through again, it seemed optimistic. Sure, time makes dirt of us all, but dirt is a continuum. There's always something that lasts for some time and has influences and goes away and comes back and gets re-purposed and it's probably not what you planned. Baskerville's monument didn't last long and neither did your paper one , but that wasn't really your legacy, was it? You brought something else out of the game, maybe that's it. Or maybe you hid it from the game cause you were afraid of actually losing it.
And my favorite thought, which was so far from what I intended that I feel less weird about the whole Outside thing now, by playing the game and tearing it up to make your thing, you do part 2 to something I created. What's that all about?
