I honestly enjoyed this jokey game more than any entry from the series it imitates WHICH I AM NOT ALLOWED TO MENTION THE NAME OF. The lack of screen transitions and unnecessarily-long battle animations makes this game much more playable and eliminates most of the artificial gameplay lengthening, and the short length of this game means that it doesn't become dull and overstay its welcome. Perfect for a grouch like me who tends not to like turn-based RPGs!

Some of the more original monster designs here are also very nice and, in my opinion, surpass many of the monster designs of its inspiration.
