This immediately made me feel like I was playing a retro GameBoy game with the visuals and music. Definitely charming and cohesive there, really nailed that! I liked the concept, time to prepare before each wave, pokedex style extras and skill tree. I found rallying troops to be a little difficult to organize and keep together with different swimming speeds still on. A suggestion I would make is that you can skip to the fight as soon as you'd like. I found all the dollas and has to wait 30 seconds for the timer to out before moving to the fight stage. I live streamed my experience if you want to see my reaction. Cool submission and awesome art/music!
Thanks! I didn't initally want to have separate speeds for that reason, but I felt I needed something else to differentiate the creatures more. That or not letting creatures leave the big rearrange box or something. I like the idea of the options to skip to the fighting also. I was debating just shorteming the timers, but thats6even better! :P Thabks for the feedback!
This game is really charming to me. I like the spritework and especially the sound design. Just very satisfying to hear the splashing as the fish jump out of the water
You should check out RAPIDPUNCHES. They have a ton of awesome sea animal sprites. I only used a few in this game, but I wanna make another game with those sprites because they're so awesome.
Very creative, and fits the theme very well
Thanks!
