The game is beautiful but a bit too uncontrollable!

The concept is good, but the execution is poor.

I have to admit, this game sure is luck based, not only is it random chance if I get knocked off course by a bad song who's pattern I cant make out, bu it's also random if I clip through the floor and die for no reason.

There was a game for one of the GMTK jams that had a similar concept, but was aided by an indicator of when the song would hit it's beat.  I would recommend that you check that out if you want to make a postjam game of this.  That, and some major bug fixes.

"clip through the floor and die for no reason" I think the reason you think this hapens is I put a 0.5 seconds delay on restarting the level after death(for absolutely no reason lol) but cinemachine camera keeps following the target dot for the next 0.5 seconds. That combined with the huge spike colliders may have given you that feeling. This was our fist game jam so we are not really experienced but will definitely keep working on this concept since we liked it very much. Thanks for the constructive(but a bit harsh) review!

No problem, don't sweat it, back when I used unity my games faced similar problems. Sorry about how it came off, It was pretty late when I wrote that.  What you made is actualy pretty ambitions for a first jam game.

The idea is amazing, I wouldn´t change the song everytime the player dies. This just feels a little unfair. (spills all the precious JUICE) I like the idea and especially the artwork is amazing :)

Thank you for the feedback we were trying to fit it to the theme by randomizing the song. We think the idea is good too so we will keep on working and improving it after the jam!

This game is quite cool !
I think it would have been nice to include some sort of indicator to show when you will shoot, because if you don't know the song it's really hard to play.

That is a great idea we will add it right after the jam closes!
