Hello there! Before I share my feedback, I just want to congratulate you on making this game. I know creating an original title from scratch isn't easy, especially in a brand new engine. With that being said, I tried out Magic Mayhem, and here are my thoughts:

Pros:

  • The game is functional. Had no problems with the controls.
  • Visuals are quite nice, especially for the wizard.
  • Character animations are pretty cool.

Cons:

  • The project lacked the jam theme and special object.
  • Magic Mayhem contained different art styles, such as pixel art and clip art. I would advise picking one next time.
  • The flying pet(s) that circles around the player can be a bit bothersome.

At first, I didn't understand the game, but then I got it all. I found the secrets, including the major secret. Very original idea :)

there is 3 secrets in every scene, so there are 3 in the menu, 3 in level 1, and 3 in level 2. (there are two major secrets I think)

Great start! I don’t quite understand how the pet is related to “decay” but it’s cute! Keep going!
