Man this is a cool one, loved the pixel art and the attack mechanic, the Beast's ranged attack adds to the challenge, it wasnt hard to dodge but a fun addition id say. 

Its a really fun platforming and attacking the beast simultaneously. Loved the art and music & sound effects too.

 The only thing Id complain about is the player movement, it kinda feels like its sliding in the air? idk how to explain it but its easy to overshoot/undershoot.

But Id still say the game feels very responsive and is fun and the beast design was like the cherry on top xD.
