Mizzenmast is a TTRPG I made on a whim for a jam, creating weird lore about eating Lovecraftian sea creatures out of the blue. One bit of lore was about an electric moray eel being using to power the restaurant, which I wanted to explore further; the Fishfest jam gave me an excuse to do so. The game is short (but has two endings based on player decisions!), so to make up ofr it I made myself learn two new things in RenPy: how to change text color per line, and how to make publish it as a web game - success on both accounts! I also freehanded the eel sprites despite despising my art style, but it actually kind of worked for how weird the story was.
