I liked the game :D but it's not potato pc friendly :c I had to restart a couple time because my pc couldn't handle all those rocks physics, the artstyle reminds me of "Another world". Pretty cool

Who needs to used quarried rocks to build anything when I can just live under the shadow of my rock pile?

I too ran into the transporter getting stuck, which is a shame because the _moment_ the UI launched I knew this was going to be an awesome nostalgia experience. I'm begging you to please continue this project, this looks like so much fun as more of an "idle SimTemple for NES" game which I didn't know I needed so badly.

Also: I see you used Godot as well. Any chance you can export to web? It will definitely be easier to check out by simply refreshing the web page instead of downloading new files. Only trick to know is you need to name the produced .html file "index.html" instead of "<gamename.html>" -- after that, you zip up all the files Godot exports and uploading to Itch, then check the "this can be played in the browser" box.

Well done!

I like the idea but, the carrier keeps getting stuck . I notice when this happened , rolling your face on the keyboard pans the camera to the right a little ,  and undoes the construction of the buildings.  I somehow ended up getting 5 ruby gems in the process.

Great game idea , I would love to see more of this.

Please insert the following code into one of your scripts  please. :)

#quit game with ESC

func _input(event):

    if event.is_action_pressed("ui_cancel"):

        get_tree().quit()

OR if you really want to be a godam mad man...

#stop players from quiting AltF4 or X button

func _notification(what):

if what == NOTIFICATION_WM_CLOSE_REQUEST:

get_tree().set_auto_accept_quit(false)

Thank you for your feedback! We have noticed since the release of the game that the bug of the character getting stuck keeps happening, usually after getting too many mining upgrades. I will relay the suggestions to the programmers. Once again, thank you!

Keep up the good work. 👍  This has great potential to be something great.

I liked the idea for this game a lot, really cool implementation of the "layered elements" challenge.

The simple art style works really well with the theme, it reminds me of NES games, my only problem with it is the different pixel sizes between the game and the UI, besides that it's amazing. I'm missing a bit of music or sound effects though. It doesn't need anything too crazy in that department.

Gameplay wise I found a few problems, but even then the game was really fun to play. First, the mining upgrades feel kinda useless and even counterproductive, since the bottleneck is always the rock carrier and not the miners. Even spending everything on speed and carry capacity, the rock pile never stopped increasing, which is a problem given the rocks use physics simulation. That's the second problem, if the pile becomes too big, the game begins to slow down a lot. Also the carrier seems to sometimes get stuck but I saw your comment saying you found that after the deadline which is ok.

Thank you Linku!
You hit spot on on the art style issue. We had to compromise on the scale of the UI for legibility's sake. If we were coherent with the main screen scale, we would have been left with a letter with a 2-pixel height

About the bug, were are trying to see what we can do.
We also thank the recommendation on the balancing of the gameplay, we will consider those, thanks!

Really fun idea, but I had trouble understanding the controls a bit? I did figure out that space bar and wasd did things, and I did have some fun with it!

Good game! I like that felling of building something.
