Gave your game a second play with the game link you provided in the comments below. I can see the potential of your idea and mechanic -  my impression is pretty limited, though, as I got stuck on level 3.

For the visuals, I wish you would have  kept the original style. Switching to a generic tileset doesn't blend well with the rest of the game. It is totally possible to hand-draw an environment your game deserves. This guy here has some awesome  video series for such an approach, can highly recommend giving it a watch

The background music is nice, adding some more soundFX would / audible feedback for taking certain actions would be great.

Rated based on the very limited time I had with this game, I got to level3, so the platforming is difficult, can't say it is fun, the character controls weirdly, slides on platforms, gets caught in collision, I completed the robot in level 3, but couldn't figure out how to get past the wall to the next level, not sure if there was a button or a lever I could pull, but I didn't see it, the music is nice but doesn't really fit the game(at least there was no story to explain the sad music), the robot splitting is a nice mechanic and could go in interesting directions, again, I couldn't get past level3 (I played the robotto v2)

Thank you a lot for your comments. Level3 cannot solve because we are dumb and we were struggling with the resolution setting. We just fixed it. Thank you so much again

Very interesting concept! I felt like the game could have benefitted from some smaller puzzles at the beginning, otherwise the players can feel lost quite quickly. I'd also recomment putting some individual tutorial for each of the body parts -- legs can jump, arms can pull levers, head fits through small spaces. I also wonder how different the game would feel if the camera was static, and allowed players to oversee the entire room at once (rather than move between body parts)

But I hope you'll continue to work on this game! It has great potential, and I'm very curious where you'll take this next!

Hi, thanks for the comments, we didn't have time to make things clear, but you actually played the old version. The new version can be found here: RO.BOT.TO v2 by Whiskey Bar (itch.io)

Like the hand-drawn art of your game! Also love the  Flying Castle setting (I am a huge fan of Miyazaki - his films, of cause, but especially his  masteful art style - his  work is one of my biggest inspirations).

But I am not very good with solving the puzzles. Do you have a walk-through somewhere, or at least a first-steps tutorial? In the first puzzle, I thought to reach the swtich/lever, I have to disassemble myself and fall throught the open gap in the ground. But it doesn't work, so I am stuck at the very beginning already. Don't want to rate your game in this situation, so help would be appriciated.

Also made the art for a game called "Roboto" in the past (https://orolock.itch.io/roboto). Completely different setting, but the goal is also to escape the place successfully.

Oh, okay. Was playing the one you submitted for this  IMG Jam. Are you aware of that? However, will check out the link you gave me.

A very nice and fun game. The graphics are great, too. It looks like some sort of book.
