This was nice, I just didn't know when I did something correctly or what to really do. I like the sad music, it really fits the situation but with the simple graphic style, I didn't know what was meant to be hit with the ray
I seen your comment and even though shift should not be here I like it a lot. The idea is good I didn't get to far so I can not speak for the full game. I like the puzzle idea with the hints and I like the kind of old stile art.
To be frank I didn't even understand what I was doing and it feels very counter-intuitive to have to use space to move to another screen, especially when the game will totally let you go past the limits. Also, running will let you past the walls too so I got even more lost on there. It's kind of a shame, cause the game seems interesting
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you saw potential. I added shift to run for playtesting purposes and forgot to remove it, that's why you can go outside bounds
I see, well that's understandable. Wishing you the best for future projects !
Cool little game, maybe the music would need a bit more variations and more than 3 elements, and also sometimes it's weird when you do an enigm that your character instantenously starts moving, that makes the behaviour a bit weird. Other then that, its got the cool little story, and pixel art is cool
