A solid game even if it was only somewhat fitting of the jam. I think the chaos mechanics are cool, though it felt like it was too long before the effects triggered. I had to play through a few times to experience some of the other effects. The enemies also seemed to be too tanky, and combined with the lack of interesting terrain, there wasn’t much in the way of interesting movement or combat. Lot of that can be chalked to time constraints, but the bulky enemies still felt a bit much, I think weaker but a few more enemies would have worked beter. Good work regardless!

Man I love Fauna. Ok jokes aside. Is this Game Chaotic? Hell yes. But sadly it's not the actual Setting of what this Game Jam is about. Still a solid Game well done!

Welcome aboard, and nice first game attempt! Even if you didn't quite get the references part, I'm glad that you enjoyed being part of it!

  • I like the chaos effect mechanic, I think it is a cool way to liven up the classic top-down shooter -- I do think it should be faster though!
  • I was playing on an ultrawide monitor (2560x1080), so the UI felt pretty big and crushed together.
  • A crosshair would help for aiming, especially if you added other weapons in.
  • Enemies beyond a certain boundary, if I got far enough away, would stop trying to move towards me... is that intentional?
  • The music was a nice touch. I'm a fan of the main character, too... I see you have good taste in combat assassin types too, huh? Reminds me of a certain hitman and a certain metal gear enjoyer...

In all, not bad for a base! It could be fun to expand on it, add objectives to the world, more weapons and characters and possibly even world-changing effects as time goes on and the chaos timer goes down.

Not really sure the connection to Hololive, but the chaos mechanic reminds me of GTA Chaos mode. I enjoy watching streams of those so I can see the chaos connection.

However, the enemies are quite tanky. They take 7 shots to kill, I think, which makes it feel like losing is inevitable from running out of ammo. Once you are out of ammo, I pretty much just run away from enemies. The chaos timer is also a bit too long. On a typical playthrough I usually just run into maybe 1 or 2 effects before running out of ammo.

The randomization for events is creative! Very satisfying that the bullets are instantaneous as well.
Couple of things I'd like to point out:
- I am observing that the movement controls is sometimes getting stuck.
- Also for the controls shuffling, I'd recommend showing which button does what, since the shuffling goes beyond just WASD from what I observe, have to test out every button on my keyboard.

Overall, a really great attempt!

Also, I really like the inclusion of FAUNA FROM HOLOLIVE PRODUCTION AS AGENT 47 in this game. Very cool. You have great taste my man.
