I don´t know if I was playing it right or if maybe this would be more fun with friends but after a while I just found it repetitive because I couldn´t advance floors since I never rolled 1 for the exits. I did like the creativity and the design of the instructions card!
Thank you very much for your feedback! I have some updates ready to share once the Jam concludes. My aim is to refine the game's pacing and challenge, enhancing exploration and improving the rewards. I hope you enjoy it!
This was a really clever entry! I played it on stream and died in my second room LOL. BUT, I think if it were fleshed out a tiny bit, it could still remain a 'RPG on a card' but with a little less RNG to rely on. Plus, rolling three 6s in a row is a 1/216 chance, or approximately 0.5% chance. That's reallllllllly low to 'beat' the game.
I'm glad you liked it! I believe this RPG still has room for improvement. I'm reviewing some rules, like finding exits in rooms and increasing loot with each floor.
I watched your stream, and I think you forgot to apply your defense modifier before taking damage from the monster, that's why you died so fast. I’m gonna tweak it to make that calculation clearer.
I get that the chance of rolling 666 is super low, but the joke with the number of the beast makes me smile hahaha
