I found the camera getting stuck looking at walls, along with the giant page turn in the right corner, to be frustrating.

I like whatever is going on with how the character animates and moves. I wouldn't do that in an action game, but for an adventure or exploratory game it could be interesting.

I wasn't sure where to go and what to do.

I would remove more walls or do something about the camera.
