  • I had no one to play with so I couldn't test the game. I know it is a tight timeframe but you should've focused on having an AI opponent especially if you knew it is a pandemic. The Pixel menu threw me off a bit since I had seen the gameplay that doesn't look pixelated so I think it can be a good idea to be consistent with the art style. The how to play thrown in your face is way to much, I ended up spamming next until I got into the game. Try to make an onboarding level instead.
  • Some nice mechanics, but with only one character each it's too easy to be stopped.
  • This feels really solid, and I can imagine this being very fun to play in a multiplayer scenario! There are some uncertainties in the user interface - I think the icons could be clearer for some of the actions, but the basic game idea is solid. Fixing the UX of the game is a small part, I think, when you have the basic game design/mechanics down as you do here. Very good
  • Looks like a very cool concept, but right from the start I couldn't build anything - no matter which player I was playing. Also, the amount of rules at the start-up really demands for a tutorial mode to walk people through how to play ("show them, don't tell them")

This looks an interesting little strategy game, but when I played against myself I found it easy to turn turtle. Also, one of the teams couldn’t build after a while and I don’t know why.

What does the middle hex do? It gave the one who got it some kind of moon icon, but what effect does that have?

Thank you for your feedback! I would try to explain or respond to as many points as I can.
* In regards to why one of the teams could not build after a while, there might be several possibilities. Either the team has run out of blocks to place in their inventory or it has run out of action points and could not build. Worst case scenario, if that player disappeared from the board, it was probably a bug that we are actively trying to replicate now.
* The hexagon in the middle is a buff block. Obtaining a buff block will give a player 2 additional AP each turn, but the buff will be dropped if the player dies. I believe buff was explained in the "Game Rules" section in the menu.
* Unfortunately I am not sure what did you mean exactly by "turning turtle".  I would appreciate it greatly if you elaborated on it.

We would also be happy to answer any questions you have in person! We are at our show booth in gather.town every day from 1 till 5 pm by Swedish time.

It's possible that the player ran out of blocks. I guess somewhere it tells me how to get more blocks. I thought destroying mountains might do it, but it didn't.

The buff may well have been explained in the rules,  but you made the classic mistake of assuming your player will read them! I tried mousing over the indicator to see if that would tell me what it did, but it didn't.

By "turning turtle", I mean that if all the players play defensively, nothing happens except that when you attack you lose.
