Very very solid submission! A different take on the classic snake which makes sense thematically and with cute graphics to go along with it. Makes you feel like you're looking through a microscope at this little tapeworm :D

The greyscale art and lens is very effective and atmospheric.  The fast-paced snake style gameplay works well too.

Great take on the old snake game genre.

Cool game with an interesting grayscale microscope view. Well done! Welcome to Godot wild and good luck!

Thank you :)

An addictive little game. I like how cohesive the style is. There are some lag issues once you live long enough from the exposions and object instantiation I'm guessing. The intro text is great.

Great job, loved the art style. Iit would be nice if you weren't forced to take the tutorial or if finishing the tutorial was saved between sessions

Developer

I didn't think someone would try it twice !!

The theming, artstyle, music and tutorial were all amazing. The gameplay was solid but I experienced quite some lag with big number of collisions to the point where my game got stuck in constant screen-shake.

Developer

Sorry about that, I knew this was a risk when making it ! I guess with more optimisation it could be more stable, I will definitely try to make a clean version when I'm more experimented.
Thanks for the feedback

Needs a leader board, then people will spend hours on this game.

Lived long enough to become a 7.2 inch worm. :) Congrats on your first GWJ entry. This is a great job for you first entry. The polish was great. I particularly loved the way you did the tutorial. The game fit the theme of the jam perfectly, and the music made things very exciting.
