How does your submission match the theme?
The game is entirely based on two stats:
- FirePower
- HolyPower
Apart from being the central resource of the game, firepower works as a timer, defines the intensity of the lighting around the character and also defines luck (the less firepower, the luckier you get), pushing the player to take risks (finding treasures when they have low firepower)
Luck also defines the fire rate of all the traps in the game, the luckier you are, the less traps you'll encounter.
The Holy Power will grant you access to powerups via the dragon, and will let you enhance your base luck and your total firepower.
Just as Downwell, IgKnighted has a central mechanic that has many uses and is directly and indirectly linked to the other resources in the game.
