Ranked from 3 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your submission match the theme?
Health and ammo are shared. Every time the player shoots in an attempt to kill an enemy, their own health is drained.
The amount of health/ammo for a particular color affects the bullet size.
Jumping in mid-air does a double jump and drops a barrel bomb which hurts enemies.
Killing enemies grants the player points and refills their health/ammo pool.
Jumping on enemies heads refills the players number of jumps they can do and springs the player into the air.

Interesting game! I included it in my Game Maker Toolkit’s Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Cool. Thank you!

Instantly addicting and challenging. Love the jump bombs and screen shake. Very impressive considering it was submitted 11hrs before the contest deadline.

Being a person who lacks the ability to read instructions. I felt that this game was simple enough to learn quickly. Yet challenging to the point of keeping the flame of interest burning hot for a good hour.

I'm not going to spoil other players on the mechanics of the game, Figuring out how it works is half the fun.

Besides gameplay, the game is well built considering the deadlines the author faced. There is no unexpected behavior (bugs) while playing. The UI is easy to figure out and the controls behave consistently.
