Nice implementation of the concept.
A nit pick is that we usually see the side of the dice since throwing them to enemy sticks on their side; but the dice value is determined by the top face, which we usually can’t see. This may need some thinking to resolve.
Hey thank you so much for the constructive comment! As you can probably tell we didn't nearly get as much done as we wanted to and tried to make it as playable as we could in the last hour with what we had. The way the dice system works is it detects which side actually hits and uses the value of the opposite side. We found some kinks with it like what you mentioned and obviously an enemy isn't going to always be the first thing it hits which can also cause you to not see the correct side of the dice. This was our first game jam and after learning a lot from this one we're really excited for our next jam.
