I wish there was a way to go back down the stair. Other than that, really nice gameplay, art and music!!

Really impressed that you made all this in a weekend. The assets have a great gameboy asthetic that I enjoyed. Climbing was interesting and challenging, though I think the controls could be simplified. Seems like the ladder could be considered placed the moment it is created without needing to confirm it, since moving up it is separate controls.

Cool concept. The game is challenging as well as enjoyable. Not being able to go down the ladder made it more difficult too. This has great potential. I hope you'll develop on this after the jam is over.

Theres alot of potential in this idea! One thing I'll say thou, giving the player the ability to go down ladders would help a bunch make your players feel more in control, unless you want to go for a more tight and pragmatic aproach to solving the levels.

Still, good job making this game! And in 48h! thats a feat and a half!

interesting concept, although the controls were difficult to get used to since you can't climb up while holding a ladder, and can't climb down the ladders either. I think there should only be one button for placing a ladder, and allow for movement up and down the ladder? good job on getting this done in only 48 hours though :)
