How does your game fit the theme?
The player switches from the small scale pov of the engineer to the large scale pov of robot battles. The engineering is searching for resouces in the world after each wave of monster fights. This matches the theme because the player needs to collect resouces to build their large scale robot.

I like the concept, piloting a giant mech is always fun. And yet it's hard to see the robot as anything else but a funny little guy who says "gleck" lol
The swapping between mech shooting and 2d platformer is a really fun idea! And then using the materials from 2d platformer to upgrade the combat sections is a neat loop.
