How does your game fit the theme?
My game is a platformer that uses the idea of scale from photography to switch what ground the player can be on based on the scale of the player in relation to the scale of the platform.

This is a good idea, and would love to see it worked on so more!  As it is now the game is very difficult, and when you die you have to reload the page.

The first thing I'd do is set a kill plane below the bottom platform and make it so you respawn when you fall.

Congrats on submitting to your first jam!  I'd love to see more from you!

The way the switching ground mechanic is implemented is great! The normal and ground and background were very similar in color so it took a while for me to decipher them. Building on levels and adding a restart button would be a great next step! Great job!

Wow this game is quite addicting, it requires quick mechanics and even just getting through your test scene took me some time. Great job on your first game jam and I look forward to the polished product!! Interesting enough, I also made a photography related game for this jam, feel free to check it out and rate it if you liked it! https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2024/rate/2913180
