It's a chill an pretty game, but i need to grind a lot to progress.

Super fun gameloop, the atmosphere was very comforting! I found the second level to be a little slow, those rods are so expensive lol. But great game :)!

I played your game and I really enjoyed the art style of the game. The concept of the game was also really cool. However I seemed to not  be able to cast no matter what button or key I pressed. I would love to try this again and update my rating if you can tell me what I am doing wrong. Also if you could check out our game we would appreciate the feedback

HI, thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately we ran out of time to implement the tutorial so we forgot to explain that you need to left click on the swimming shadows in the water to cast your line. There also might be a bug that doesn't register the clicking and requires you to try it a few times.

after trying a bit I found that i had to double click on the fish, it might be on my pc specifically as nvidia had some warning messages about graphics drivers I didn't have installed, but got it working :^)

The game is gorgeous, love the water and the cute lil whale you're on. I can't seem to get my line casting even though I tried every mouse button and a bunch of keys. I might be doing something wrong though.. idk if you guys experienced it before/if there's something I can try because I'd really like to give this a try i wanna make whale frend big :(

Nothing you did was wrong, my team and I unfortunately ran out of time to implement the tutorial so there is no way you would know that you need to left click on the swimming fish in the water to cast your line. Thanks for your feedback and let us know your thoughts if you come back to the game.

thankyouuu!!! on second revisit i noticed I had to double click as well, but after that the game was super relaxing and chill!!! i don't mind the fact that the levels take a bit longer to progress through but if you guys end up making a post jam build with a different way to reel in fish (such as a minigame like in stardew valley) lmk because the atmosphere is unparalleled :)

The art is beautiful and the sound design is immersive. I especially adore the whale's cry when you feed it. However, the gameplay felt more like grinding and constantly spamming right-click got tiring fast. I also couldn't figure out what the upgrade for the fishing rod even did
