Interesting game! The music is kinda weird tho
Thanks for the feedback! And yeah, the web build's music is all kinds of messed up, and I haven't been able to fix it. It's supposed to be a short, repeating track that speeds up per floor. Also the music was kinda rushed, since it was done at the end of the time I could spend on the game.
Cool game about spooning people.
The main character design is hilarious and the concept is great. Like other comments said gameplay can definitely be smoothed out! I'd start by making it so the camera has some delay when following the player, this will help the dash system immensely. Cheers!
Thanks for the feedback! And funnily enough, I added that delay and then removed it because it didn't feel right at the time. Post-jam I'll definitely add that on!
BIG SPOON! I LOVE BIG SPOOOOON!!!
A very fun concept, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. I like the attack/block system, but the levels don't feel well designed, and the upgrade menu / dash aren't very smooth. I hope you keep fleshing this out and make an epic big spoon game!
Also, the enemy variety was very nice with some cool switch-ups, but their placement felt random
Thanks for the feedback! And yeah the systems are a bit clunky, but post-jam I'll definitely come back to this and flesh it out heavily.
i like the concept, dash and combat feels funky
Thanks for the feedback! The combat was kinda rushed and a lot more time was spent on the enemies than the actual player, although I hadn't noticed it because I had been playing around those quirks.
Creativity is there, but it's not well programmed. The spoon doesn't hit enemies when they get too close to you. Also, there's no feedback for doing anything at all, not even killing enemies. For 48 hours, it's not bad.
Edit: if you get far enough and have a long enough spoon you can just shake the spoon in the direction of the safe and everything dies
Thanks for the feedback! And yeah, I got a bit lazy on programming the spoon, and only made a couple of band-aid patches early on, hoping that the other mechanics would work well.
