Really creative! The concept by itself was already a lot of fun, it definitely has a lot of potential!
"the far less exiting task of giving out quests" well it's one of the best game I played so far ! You have to anticipate and manage the risk/reward it's quite fun. The main thing that bothered me is that you can't put money "under the carpet" (keeping the money that is over your quota to reduce the next quota). Also it was not clear at first what the goal was and how power is taken into account to resolve quests.
Okay so I've tryhard the game a bit and I defeated a few gold golems but I still couldn't reach the 800 gold quota. Also something about the UI that I didn't understand at first is the fact that there is no unit for the quota nor the reward whereas for the level-up requirement it is specified that it is gold. So at first it is not obvious that they are all in the same unit. And maybe to make it more clear write "commission" and the % of your cut, on top of the value in gold. I still thinks the game is great, although a bit addictive and too difficult in the end.
Nice idea but it is hard to grasp what exactly your goal is. Good job nevertheless!
