Yay, another theatre-themed entry!
Cute idea! Not sure what the optimal strategy for such a game would be, but I enjoyed letting myself get beaten up only to hit the final blow after a character switch.
The characters could maybe move a little faster to make them feel more like they are in a high-stakes fight, but otherwise, controls work pretty well. Nice job!
Fighting games are some of the hardest to build so congrats on getting this much functional for a 48 hr jam!
I would love to see where this game could have gone if you had more time! so impressive what you were able to accomplish!
Thanks, it's really a hard task to create a fighting game system from scratch, there are some things left to do like balancing attacks, improving the UI and a multiplayer mode, after Game Jam I'll release some updates ;)
haha i feel ya! you rush so much just to finish the game and then you have to actually make sure it all works together, so we had balancing issues in our game too, either way 5 star rating from me ^ o^
The character designs are actually really sweet, and I'm impressed with the interaction you got done in such a short time! Nice work.
Thanks, I ended up focusing too much on the mechanics and didn't have time to polish at the end, but I'm glad you liked it :)
