Love the concept of coming up with the shop for the adventurers! I did find it a bit hard to scroll through all the cards and make the right picks at times due to how short the timer was. But the art of everything was awesome as well, I do think it the book it would be easier to determine who the customer is by having the photos be colored in the book too, but I feel like that would be hard for that time period. Great job!
Visual awesome
The modelling, animation, and overall art style are amazing! I'm very impressed by the amount of content there is and the consistency across the board from the cards to the journal to the characters on screen - that said, I found it really difficult to identify who was who using the portraits, and I couldn't identify the items they needed in time, which was a bit disappointing. I'd like to see this developed further, maybe with a longer countdown, or the ability to sell less than 3 items (but lose satisfaction) and sound effects to really boost immersion.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I agree 100% I definitely went a bit overboard with the portraits 😅
Presentation is off the charts good. There's a loooot of text here. It's fun to read, but there really is a lot. I can't help but wonder if this game would have benefited from a slower ramp up instead of immediately throwing you into the deep end with a billion customers and items. Like, maybe a system where you only have 2-3 shoppers at first and 4-5 items, then gain more over time. It's a bit overwhelmingly complex at the start. Really like the idea and aesthetics though.
I'd appreciate it if you check out my game too if you have a minute! :)
Thank you so much for your feedback! I spent a lot of time on the lore behind the characters, perhaps too much 🤣 but it was fun to build, I agree with the ramping up idea and perhaps a bit of a tutorial that explains the game and a little bit about the the world would be great too.
I'll also check out your game it looks good!
