The idea sounded cool, but I just could not get the hang of the controls. Probably a "me" issue. Maybe having longer time to dev would have let you introduce the mechanic in a more visual way. I wasn't sure how the lock+dash was meant to work the way you intended it

All around this is a fun game, nice job :)

I noticed the background appeared to be a panel with an image on it.  I suggest you checkout this article and look into using shaders for your background: https://www.codinblack.com/outline-effect-using-shader-graph-in-unity3d/

That article has helped me in the past, and I think it can help you too.  Just a heads up, it might be a bit challenging because it gets into shaders.

Great job, and good luck!

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Will definitely check the link.

Green feels alive, in a sus way.....

Fun mechanic, I think the platforming can be a little bit finicky at times but I think that probably could be solved just by making the player faster.  I agree that if you want more ratings you could probably include a thumbnail. Nice entry though, good job!

I am happy you liked it! Our last 20-minute modifications caused some control problems. This was our first game jam so kind of our mistake to not play-test our last build well enough. I worked on the unresponsiveness after that but it was already too late. Thanks a lot for your valuable input.

This game is actually quite fun! could you add a thumbnail to your submission? I think it would make people more inclined to try the game out :)

Thank you! I'll try to scribble something.
