I really like the art style and the atmosphere.
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but the game becomes unresponsive when I click on the door in the basement...
I love the art style, and I like the story setup. Unfortunately the game always soft-locks (becomes unresponsive to my inputs, but is still running) every time I click on the door to the stairs. If there's something I'm missing, let me know, because I want to see the rest of this game.
Also, a minor bug I found is if you click to progress the text box while the text is still appearing, the next text box gets clobbered with text from the previous message box.
