Really dig the concept and with a more mechanics tied to the music this could make for a really fun hectic platformer! I also found trying to play fast as I could was pretty fun and made the core mechanic more engaging, so maybe implement something that pushes the player to move faster.

Seeing as this is a rhythm game I think it's important to take note on the music, and I liked it though it could definitely be more memorable. Made within the scope of this jam though it's still quite impressive and serves it's purpose well! I know for my game I only had music thanks to having made a track that fit this earlier this year lol. I could even see this being how you handle that time mechanic I mentioned! Maybe have it be you have to reach the end before the song ends.

My biggest gripe would have to be the punching. It's really hard to gauge the distance on it and it led to many deaths (which are thankfully not too punishing but still hamper game feel). And outside of that I think the only other problem is just other minor things that reduce game feel.

Overall though I really enjoyed it and would love to see this concept developed further!

Thanks very much for the feedback and for playing the game! Punching would DEFINITELY be the major thing to fix in a future release; we planned to have even more mechanics (one for each face button) but in the end we barely had time to fix the only major attack. Gotta keep our ambition in check next time!
