Fun old style arrow shooter. Would've preferred a lot more variation, but really impressed with the solo contribution.

I played the game few times. definitely the game was very fun and engaging <3

Developer

1. Setting up the Digital Workspace

  • Backlog: Every wild idea (like use the specially about the horn).
  • Art & Assets: Character sprites, background parallax layers, UI icons

2. Managing the "Pipeline" (The Flow)

As the project moves along, the developer drags cards across columns to visualize progress like:

  1. To Do: "Set the bow and arrow"
  2. In Progress: "Coding the win/lose condition"
  3. Done: "Music and SFX Integrated."

Why this works

  • Prevents "Feature Creep": If a new idea comes up, it goes in the Backlog instead of distracting from the current Sprint.
  • Visualizes Bottlenecks: If there are 10 cards in "Testing" and 0 in "Done," the developer knows they need to stop coding and start debugging.
  • Resource Management: It keeps track of external assets (e.g., "Waiting for the freelance artist to send the boss animations").
