I really enjoyed this game, and found its themes about sustainability and respect for the land/its people to be a very welcome surprise!
I appreciated the way that each successive character guides the player toward engaging with the game in a different way, and the way that each character's story peels back another layer that resonates with the player's insights into the world at that point in the game.
Lovely work!
The visuals are okay, the sounds are terrible, but the gameplay, what should be the biggest part, is very weak. Most of the options never affect the outcome of a round in any meaningful way, so for most rounds I would just use bombs and hope that they would push the light orbs away. Of course, it could also be that I didn't understand how the game was supposed to be played, which is entirely possible considering nothing is explained. It might be an okay game with a lot of polish and expansion, but as it is it's very unwelcoming of an experience.
I really enjoy this game, I'll be playing ALOT
My only complaint is that the trigger for the exploding jump is inconsistent. It needs to be less sensitive I think other wise the game is great.
At some points I'm sure I can't pass a certain obstacle only to do in on reflex after a few deaths and it feels incredibly satisfying.
Great work guys
