Short description of the game
In this 'reverse' horror/thriller game you play as a the villain rather then the hero. You are a kidnapper trying to catch their victim before they escape and alert the police. The player has to follow clues and prompts while completing QTEs to stop the victim from escaping in order to find apprehend them before the timer runs out and they lose.
Theme
We interpreted the theme of 'Missing' literally, as our game deals with a missing person. We had originally planned to make the game from the other pov where you play to escape the kidnapper but we felt it would be interesting to play from the 'villains' pov and also to have a double meaning to 'Missing' (the person is missing as you have kidnapped them and now they are also missing from your car as they have escaped and you must find them). The team wanted to use this opportunity to make this game a prequel to our last game jam game, Greenspace, it had a secret ending that this game's storyline will help explain.
Development Process
In the beginning, like all things I would say it went smoothly, but at the end everything just decided to break. We had posters that the player was meant to destroy and items they could collect, but everything just broke so we had to take them out. But we made it, some how.

super cool artstyle! i love it
Love the concept for this game! The artwork looks great. Love all the details you've added to the game such as posters on the trees. Also, I really love your game's thumbnail - it looks really cool! It was fun trying to find the victim in time. Great job! :)
