Thank you for yout feedback, just saw yout streaming. The game is for two players, you used the soldier drone and only the other drone (worker drone controled with arrows) can pick up items. This is for coordination an cooperation in gameplay.

Thank you for your feedback! :D As Game Manager Mewpher said, only the worker drone (the one with 4 propellers) can pick up items (power ups). That's mentioned in the instructions within the game. This is an intentional feature, since this is a cooperative game for 2 players ;D.
